NABL
National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) is a Constituent Board of Quality Council of India. NABL has been established with the objective to provide Government, Industry Associations and Industry in general with a scheme for third-party assessment of the quality and technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. In order to achieve this objective, NABL provides laboratory accreditation services to laboratories that are performing tests / calibrations in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2012 and ISO 15189:2012 for medical laboratories.
NABH
National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organisations. the board is structured to cater to much desired needs of the consumers and to set benchmarks for progress of health industry. The board while being supported by all stakeholders including industry, consumers, government, have full functional autonomy in its operation.
ISI Marking
The ISI mark is a standards-compliance mark for industrial products in India since 1955. The mark certifies that a product conforms to an Indian standard (IS) developed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the national standards body of India. The ISI mark is by far the most recognised certification mark in the Indian subcontinent. The ISI mark is mandatory for certain products to be sold in India, such as many of the electrical appliances like switches, electric motors, wiring cables, heaters, kitchen appliances, etc., and other products like Portland cement, LPG valves, LPG cylinders, automotive tyres, etc.
PED / CE Marking
The European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED CE) assures products intended for use under inner pressure. PED is the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. Pressure equipment with an operating pressure greater than 0.5 bar falls under the scope of the Directive and therefore CE marking is required by law. This includes equipment such as (steam) boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, pressure cookers, etc. If the pressure equipment meets the requirements of PED, CE marking may be applied and the equipment may be traded freely across the European market.
IATF 16949:2016
IATF 16949:2016 is the International Standard for Automotive Quality Management Systems. IATF 16949 was jointly developed by The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) members and submitted to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for approval and publication. The document is a common automotive quality system requirement based on ISO 9001, and customer specific requirements from the automotive sector. The standard is applicable to any organization that manufactures components, assemblies and parts for supply to the automotive industry.
ISO 13485:2016
ISO 13485:2016 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements. Such organizations can be involved in one or more stages of the life-cycle, including design and development, production, storage and distribution, installation, or servicing of a medical device and design and development or provision of associated activities. ISO 13485:2016 can also be used by suppliers or external parties that provide product, including quality management system-related services to such organizations.
Oeko-Tex
Oeko-Tex is a registered trade mark, representing the product labels and company certifications issued and other services provided by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology (which also calls itself Oeko-Tex for short). Oeko-Tex labels and certificates confirm the human-ecological safety of textile products and leather articles from all stages of production (raw materials and fibres, yarns, fabrics, ready-to-use end products) along the textile value chain. Some also attest to socially and environmentally sound conditions in production facilities.
LWG
The Leather Working Group (LWG) is a not-for-profit membership organisation for stakeholders across the leather supply chain. Since 2005, LWG have developed audit protocols designed to certify leather manufacturers according to their environmental compliance and performance capabilities. LWG aims to promote sustainable business practices and create alignment on environmental priorities throughout our membership and the industry as a whole. LWG is made up of brand and retailers; leather manufacturers (tanners); traders of part-processed and finished material; suppliers of chemicals, machinery and testing; garment and product manufacturers; and technical experts.
Lean Managemenet (5S, Kaizen & TMA)
5S - 5S is a system for organizing spaces so work can be performed efficiently, effectively, and safely. This system focuses on putting everything where it belongs and keeping the workplace clean, which makes it easier for people to do their jobs without wasting time or risking injury. It includes Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain. Each S represents one part of a five-step process that can improve the overall function of a business.
Kaizen - Kaizen is a concept referring to business activities that continuously improve all functions and involve all employees from the CEO to the assembly line workers. Kaizen is the Sino-Japanese word for "improvement".
TMA - Time and Motion Analysis, is a basic set of tools used by industrial engineers to increase operational efficiency through work simplification and the setting of standards, usually in combination with a wage-incentive system designed to increase worker motivation.

C-TPAT - The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism is a voluntary supply-chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection focused on improving the security of private companies' supply chains with respect to terrorism.
API - API Certified is a classification that identifies the licensed organizations belonging to the petroleum industry, which have passed the quality test and complied to the specifications set by the American Petroleum Institute.
ATEX - ATEX stands for atmosphères explosibles. It’s a European Union directive from the European Committee for Standardization that covers “equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.” An atmosphere can be explosive for several reasons, including flammable gases, mists or vapors, or combustible dust.
